I am a licensed clinical social worker with Salem Pastoral Counseling Center who is passionate about walking alongside people during some of life’s most difficult and meaningful moments. I believe that every person has value, strength, and the capacity to grow, even when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. I approach my relationship with my client with a compassionate, and a down-to-earth approach to therapy and I constantly strive to create space where clients feel heard, respected, and understood without judgment. My work is rooted in the belief that healing happens in safe, trusting relationships where people can show up as they are and move at their own pace.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families facing trauma, behavioral challenges, crisis situations, and complex emotional struggles. I lean heavily on trauma-informed, strength-based approach, collaborative problem-solving skills (CPS), building skills through play and active engagements and the uniqueness of people while drawing from other evidence-based practices while also honoring each person’s unique story, culture, and values and shared experiences. I strive to respect and support my clients’ spiritual beliefs and meaning-making processes, integrating faith perspectives when desired by the client. At the same time, I am committed to meeting people wherever they are spiritually, emotionally, and personally. I see therapy and the healing process as a collaborative journey, where clients are the experts of their own lives where I serve as a supportive guide in helping them build insight, resilience, and hope for the future.
